Relic Sounds is not a traditional record label. We define ourselves as chronological sound archaeologists rather than music producers. Rejecting physical boundaries and the linear flow of time, we unearth those mysterious timbres born in the dusty streets of antiquity, echoing in marble theaters, and performed in ancient temples.
The artists we host are true geniuses who lived and produced in their own eras. We place our special stations, combining the quantum resonance receivers we developed with the warm analog recording technology of the 1920s, in ancient excavation sites. Across this vast geography, stretching from the Athenian Agora to the Roman streets in the shadow of Vesuvius; from the moonlight rituals of the Nile Delta to the deep temples of Mesoamerica, we capture the sound waves suspended in the void of time. Our bands play in their own epochs; we seal them live onto today's analog tapes.
Our greatest mission is to revive those ancient cultures, left silent by history books and remaining only on parchments, in the form of jazz music, humanity's most rebellious and free expression. Our aim is to rescue the mystical philosophy of the past from the digital noise of the modern world and bring it to your ears; to take music lovers on a time travel through the dark and intellectual streets of a completely different era with every album.
